• Replace when the fender is creased beyond repair, or if it's aluminum or plastic and the manufacturer requires replacement. We use OEM fenders whenever possible because they line up with factory gaps.
• Check what's behind it: wheel liner, headlight brackets, apron and, on newer cars, blind-spot or parking sensors that may need recalibration.
